Rules for CA Best 15 Roads Challenge

    1. The participant must be a member of the Southern California Motorcycling Association.
    2. The participant must complete a registration form and pay the ride fee.
    3. The participant must complete an AMA Release Of Liability (ROL) The ROLs can be found HERE.
      1. signed in front of a witness,  in case of a minor then the form must be notarized.
      2. OR sign it in the presence of a Member of the Board of Directors.

    1. The participant must provide:

    2. A GAS RECEIPT clearly showing the date and location at both ends of each road.
    3. A PHOTO of the PARTICIPANT with his or her MOTORCYCLE taken with a SIGN or recognizable LANDMARK to identify the location.
    4. The gas receipts and photos must be assembled into a logbook and sent to the Chairman of the CA Adventure Series for approval to certify the participant as a Finisher of the Challenge.
    5. The participant must ride his or her motorcycle or trike the entire distances to and from home, and along the prescribed roads.
      1. The fifteen roads may be traveled in any sequence and in either direction. Breaks in time between roads are allowed and can be taken at the discretion of the rider.
      2. In the event of a road closure, ride to the closure sign to take the photo.
    6. ALL CA 15 Roads must be ridden in one calendar year, designated as between January 1st and December 15th.
      1. There are no time extensions for any reason, including weather, mechanical failures, accidents, illness etc.
      2. Participants will have one calendar year of eligibility to complete the ride. The year of registration is considered the calendar year of eligibility.

    A Plaque will be ordered in your name after the close of the event Dec 15. Normally, we return your passport and provide a memorial plaque at our annual Awards and Appreciation Banquet that will be the following year in March.
