June 29-30.  Get a little altitude with the BWMCOSC.  Reservations are a must because this event sells out quickly.  From the BMWCOSC website:

Our annual trip to Big Bear is always one of our most popular weekend events.  We’ll take back roads up to Big Bear leaving from the Coco’s restaurant on Sunland Blvd just north of the 210 freeway (10521 Sunland Blvd, Sunland, 91040 GPS: N34.25979 W118.324900), with KSU at 9:00 AM, please arrive by 8:30 for the pre-ride briefing and have a full tank of fuel as our first fuel stop won’t be until near CA-2 and US-15.  If you want breakfast at the Coco’s you should be there by 7:30 AM to ensure time for service, to eat, pay, go to the bathroom and whatever else you need to be ready to ride on time.

From Sunland we will go up Big Tujunga Canyon, over to Angeles Forest Hwy, to Upper Big Tujunga to Angeles Crest and eventually into Big Bear.  A route GPX file will be available about 10 days prior to the ride as an attachment to this post.

Once again we’ll be staying at the Northwoods Resort (40650 Village Dr, Big Bear Lake, CA 92315 Ph: 909-866-3122 GPS: N34.24031 W116.91489) where we have secured a special discounted BMW Club rate of $109 for a room with two queen beds for 8 rooms.  Once these rooms are taken you’ll be on your own at the rack rate which is $20 to $30 higher so don’t wait.  To ensure you get the special rate you’ll need to call the desk at 909-866-3121 and tell them you are with the BMW Club and have the special $109 rate.

Dinner Saturday night will be at the Cowboy Express Steak House, a little less than a mile away from the hotel (40433 Lakeview Dr, Big Bear Lake 92315 GPS: N34.24222 W116.92009) at 6:30.  Dinner will be menu service but they won’t be able to provide separate check per person but will do one check per table.

Sunday after breakfast at Stillwell’s we will have a ride home or you can take off on your own.  At this point we don’t plan to have the van and emergency M/C trailer, but if we can find a driver we will bring it and ask for a $10 donation per bike to cover costs at that time.
