Miles, on a purely selfish level I really like moving the ride back a week. Having said that I am retired and getting rooms has never been a problem with enough planning and research , plus I have a nice retirement. However, in order to attract more younger riders the move might hurt their ability to join in the fun. Would really like to know what those still working and new to the event think of the move??

Relatively new (3 done) and still working for a few more years, support moving back. Young, maybe not so much but...

Ladies and Gentlemen, PLEASE make certain that you reply to the e-mail blast that is currently being sent out to all the veteran 3FC riders, asking that specific question, regarding moving the 3FC to a week later, keeping it on the Labor Day weekend, or having no preference.

Good to openly discuss here, but please reply to that e-mail, as that is how the tabulation of replies will be counted.

Well, I can give you some early returns.
Move to the week after Labor Day - 30
Keep it on Labor Day - 6
No preference - 4

There have also been a number of good comments other than the question of the date. Nothing like getting fresh ideas.

Heh!

I voted to change the date of the 3 Flags, BUT, I didn't at the time, realize that that would mean i had to wait an extra week for the 2020 3 Flags to come around!!

If it's important to you I will change your vote. That will make the totals to date:

Move to weekend after Labor Day - 111
Keep it on Labor Day weekend - 20
No Preference - 17
Week before Labor Day - 1
