Two routes are planned, one north and one south east.
The route chosen will depend on the weather.

Steve, will there be a route for some of our riders who want to ride but not participate in an IBA SS1000?

Howdy Bill,

We are tentatively set for a 4:00am check in.
Mike Barber and I will begin the pre-ride of the northern route tomorrow morning at 4:00a.m.
After seeing how traffic shapes up up north we may adjust an hour in either direction.

The start time set will also be valid for the eastern route should we be forced in that direction.

For Gonzo-
Yes there will be a shorter route for TA riders who are not interested in completing a Saddle Sore 1000 We are also calling this the SS Escape route (Just in case someone needs to). It will be a full day with the riders returning to Costa Mesa at Noon or a little later.

Bill, there is a LaQuinta near the 405 and Harbor. I think Steve's check-in point is in a restaurant on Harbor, making this motel a nearby spot.
