Post Second Corner

Made it to Southern California from Key West today. Much thanks to Manny Smith and his two friends, (horrible with names), but thanks to all. Manny and gang met me in Alpine, Ca. escorted me to the post office in San Ysidro, and out of San Diego north. Thanks to their gracious help, I made it from Gila Bend, Az., to my stop in San Ysidro, and all way north to Frazier Park. The unselfish help of these guys put me a full half day ahead of my schedule. If anyone making this trip needs help, Manny is your guy. hat's off. I was even proud to ride my Harley in the midst of three Victorys. Hope to repay the favor in the future.

In Chehalis, Wa. tonight to hit Blaine in the morning. Enough cannot be said about Manny and gang and their willingness to help. I lived in Maine for over forty years and cannot wait to hit the park.
Manny said I now have him fired up to make the run next year. Offered and hope they take me on my offer of spare bedrooms in Ohio. That offer is good to anyone who makes the run. I am retired military and lost my nephew in Iraq in 2004. This Four Corners run is for him. I will officially end it after Madawaska in Washington, DC Memorial Day weekend at the Rolling Thunder event where I will spend my eleventh year as a VIP Escort for a Gold Star Mother. The DC stop makes my run longer but more rewarding. Thanks to you and your organization for making this happen.

Hit third corner at Blaine this morning. In Ellensburg, Wa. tonight heading east. Having to switch route to the south due to freezing temps in Wyoming and the Dakotas. Dropping down through Idaho, Utah, to Nebraska.
