If you do not want to put sun block on your face/neck and re-apply it ever 2 hrs, there is an alternative.

1stly, if u do use sun block, dermatologists suggest Neutrogena Helioplex or something with titanium dioxide in it. Anything above something like SPF40 does not give you any additional benefit.

2ndly.........
Sure there is the neoprene mask you can wear but it is not comfortable.
Sure there is the full face helmet but it does not cover your neck and some of us like me prefer not to wear the full face helmet. So now what?

In short, many products are touted having 100% or 95% UV protection. Sounds GREAT eh? But that is not good enough. There is UVA and UVB. So the 100% UV protection referred to above means what? 100% UVA and 0% for UVB? Vice versa? That is horrible and deceptive/misleading advertising.

You must know what both UVA and UVB ratings are.

After extensive search, I only found 1 place that had TRUE 95% UVA block and 95% UVB block BOTH! The material also wicks moisture away and is soft. The best of everything.

Ergo, I felt compelled to share it with my fellow SCMAers.

This is a great product but I find it doesn't fit under my helmet very well and it has a tendency to flop around a lot when you get over 70 mph :o)
