Post Radar Detectors Canadian legality, yes for Alberta

Brought up at our3 Flags Committee meeting today....

Yes, detectors are legal in Alberta, BC and Saskatchewan in Canada.
You are in big trouble mister, if caught with one in other provinces.
Generally taken away, and big fine also.

Apparently legal (with limitations) in all the USA.

Thanks also to Reuben for links.

Sir Brian Hooker, than you for that info on Radar Detectors, and their legality in Alberta, Canada, which directly affects those of us on this years' Three Flags Classic.

Just to be clear, and yet this does not affect our 3FC riders.....Radar detectors are NOT legal in all the States of the United States. Just don't want a rider to read the post above, and assume they can legally use a Radar Detector in ALL 50 states or in WA. D.C.

Because...they cannot.

The majority of states...yes....but not all 50 states or Washington D.C.

I won't have to worry about using my Valentine One radar detector in Alberta, because I will be riding with you, and Jerry, and Roger...and by three must be the slowest 3 toed sloths that ever roamed Alberta. 😛
