Along with the great sites to visit in California, tying them together are some of the USA’s best roads.  Some of them are world renowned and made famous by Hollywood and various motorcycle magazines that are based in California.

The concept is simple.  You get to choose from four groupings or “Series” of 15 roads that are each broken down by north, central and and southern routes.  You will only have to ride one Series of roads in a calendar year to complete the challenge.

This is fantastic way to discover California and all it has to offer!  Not only are the roads great to ride but you get to see what’s along the way from the scenery to places to stop, shop and eat!

If you ride all four Series of roads, you will have ridden on 60 of California’s best roads!

After reviewing and approving your submissions, we will present you with a CA Best 15 Roads Challenge plaque in recognition of your accomplishment.

The SCMA California Best 15 Roads Challenge opens for Registration January 15, 2024. ALL road/checkpoints must be completed in one calendar year between January 15th and November 15th with ride logs submitted no later than November 30th.

To participate in the CA Best 15 Roads Challenge, you must be a current member of the SCMA.
