SCMA Legacy Award
The Legacy Award is given to an individual that has provided outstanding service and dedication to the SCMA. Some of these individuals have been Chairmans, others have served as officers and served the SCMA over multiple year periods doing the SCMA work with dedication and perserverance. The individual receiving the Legacy award is selected by a committee. The current chairman unless another is assigned chairs the committee.
SCMA’s California Triple Crown
Awarded to riders who successfully finish all three CA Adventure Series events in a single calendar year.
The SCMA Premier Triple Crown Award
Imagine completing a three-pack of any combination of USA Four Corners, Best 15 USA Roads, The Great Lakes Cabot Trail Tour, Three Flags Classic, and one of the three CA Adventure Series rides in a single calendar year or one of the Mother Road Adventure rides (15Jan to 30Nov of the same year). It is a rare achievement--completed by only 10-15 riders per year. SCMA honors this significant accomplishment with a limited-edition plaque that tags you as a very unique long-distance rider: A Triple Crown Winner.
The SCMA Premier Grand Slam Award
Complete all seven (7) Premier Events: the USA Four Corners Tour, the Three Flags Classic, The Best 15 US Roads Challenge, The Great Lakes Cabot Trail Tour and all three of the California Parks Adventure Series (Parks, Missions, CA Best 15), the Mother Road Adventure is not included for 2024, in a single calendar year. .
