California Adventures Series
California is vast and full of varied terrain, roads and vistas. The California Adventures Series of rides are meant to take you to areas of California you may never have thought to travel.
The roads less traveled are the ones most worth traveling!
The CA Missions Tour is mostly concentrated along the scenic coast, the Parks and Best 15 Roads will also take you into the interior and Easternmost parts of the state.
By completing any of these three tours, you will start to understand what makes the state of California a premium destination for people the world over.
By completing all three, you will fully experience and understand the beauty and variety that the state of California has to offer from the world famous beaches of SoCal to the rolling hills of wine country to the majestic mountains up north.
And the roads connecting it all…
The California Triple Crown will be awarded to riders who finish the CA Mission Tour, CA Parks Tour, and a CA Best 15 Roads Challenge in a single calendar year. Riders participating in these rides may find themselves very close to destinations in other CA ADV challenges, consider doing two or three at once, a challenge for sure.
By the way, completing one of the CA Adventure Series tours qualifies for one of three Premier Events to complete in pursuing the SCMA Triple Crown Award.

The SCMA California Adventure Series opens for Registration January 15, 2024. ALL road/checkpoints must be completed in one calendar year between January 15th and November 15th with ride logs submitted no later than November 30th.
To participate in the SCMA California Adventures Series, you must be a current member of the SCMA.

CA Missions Tour
The twenty-one Spanish missions established from 1769 to 1823 extend from the coastal seaport of San Diego to the Sonoma Valley. All are beautifully restored to capture the era that defined the character and culture of California.

CA Parks Adventure
The California National Parks are great locations to visit and learn about the fantastic wildlife and natural wonders that exist in this great state. Many of our riders have taken up this challenge with camping gear on their bikes and have enjoyed visiting the sites on weekends throughout the year. All agree that they’ve learned a lot after visiting the National Parks and monuments located within California!

CA Best 15 Roads Challenge
Along with the great sites to visit in California, tying them together are some of the USA’s best roads. Some of them are world renowned and made famous by Hollywood and various motorcycle magazines that are based in California.
