Missions Tour Rules

In order to complete the Missions Tour, you will need to submit your records for certification when you are done: Visit each of the 21 Missions listed, in one calendar year.
  • You may visit the Missions in any order and follow any route you desire.
  • The Missions Tour includes riding your motorcycle from your home to the missions being visited and back to your home.
  • Document each visit with a selfie and get a Mission stamp at each Mission visited.
  • The selfie would have you, your bike, and the Mission landmark. If that becomes problematic, a photo of your bike with the landmark will suffice.
  • Get a stamp at each Mission, on a piece of paper and take a picture of it.
  • If you choose to purchase an SCMA Missions Tour Book to collect your stamps and photos, members can login to this site to purchase our Missions Tour Book for $50 at the bottom of this page. There is a Login button and a Join button in the upper right corner of the menu visible on each page.  There is also a Click Here to Join button available on the  Membership link.
  • The dates on the stamp photo and the selfie must match.
  • There are no time extensions for any reason, including weather, mechanical failures, accidents, illness, etc.
NOTE:  Please contact the Missions to verify open hours. There are options for collecting and submitting your records that indicate you visited all of the Missions:
  • You may choose to document each visit with your selfie and Mission stamp photo recorded in SpotWalla. You would email the link to the ride you created in SpotWalla records to the Ride Chair.  The Ride Chair will be able to view the track of the ride and all the pictures that have been embedded. The date time stamps should be available to the ride chair. Refer to the Electronic Journaling page for more information about SpotWalla.
  • If you purchased the Missions Tour Book you will be able to mail the completed book to the Ride Chair for review with all the stamps and photos.
  • You could also mail or email a ride log with copies of Mission stamp photos and email a cloud link of the Mission selfie photos.
When you have completed the ride, members will be able to visit the Missions Tour Certification tab on the SCMA website and request to have their ride completion certified.  We will announce when the certification process, including ordering swag, is ready later this year. Certified Finishers will be invited to attend Finishers’ celebrations. Log in to purchase the Missions Tour Book.
