Four Corners Plaques

The USA Four Corners ride started officially in 1984.  In the early years, the name and home town of each Four Corners Finisher was engraved on metal plates and affixed to these large walnut plaques.  These plaques were created for finishers from 1984 with a few before 1984, through 2007.  All of the Four Corners finishers from 1984 to the prior year are listed on the Finishers and Awards page.  The red plates indicate the rider had finished the Four Corners before.  These plaques were brought to and displayed at the annual Four Corners Banquet that became the Finishers Banquet in later years.  That is a remarkable feat in later years since each plaque weighs about six pounds.  These have been photographed a few different ways to share the look of the flashy and highly reflective surfaces as well as in a darker mode allowing you to read the names.  These have been in storage for years, and we are thrilled to be able to share them here.
